The interconnection agreement formally documents terms and conditions related to customer operation and maintenance for a proposed interconnection. The agreement is a legally binding contract between the customer and us which sets forth the amount of generation allowed and invokes other technical, operating, and tariff requirements. Following completion of any required engineering screens and studies, we will provide an interconnection agreement and indicative cost estimate for any necessary upgrades to the customer. Both the Section 9 and Section 10 Tariffs contain information on interconnection agreements.
Energy-efficient appliances and light bulbs may cost a bit more up front, but they can save big money over the life of the product. Plus, some energy-efficient equipment may be eligible for rebates to offset the initial cost.
Always call 811 before digging in your yard to avoid hitting buried gas or electric lines. Not only is it the safe thing to do, but it's the law.
