Text Tiles with Image or Video

These tiles have essentially the same use case as the text tiles modules. If you're wondering whether you should use the text tiles or the text with image tiles, ask yourself if your content would be communicated better with the help of a visual. Do not use the text and image tiles simply because you want to use an image. Title and descriptions should be kept short and concise.

The text and video tiles are used best for creating a video library page like the This is How page.

Components

  • Required: Title, Description
  • Optional: Text link or Button
  • Gray background behind tiles
  • Three to six tiles

Guidelines:

If you want more than three tiles: You do not need to add another module below. Simply edit the module and select "add row," which will automatically add another tile below. You can rearrange them if needed.

Use a text link if the item is less actionable and will likely link the user to more informational content to read. Use link titles like: Learn more, Read more, Get resources, etc

Use a button if clicking on the link will take the user somewhere where they will perform an action, like filling out a form, reporting an outage, signing up for something, etc. Modules with video do not need buttons.

Energy Saving Tip

Turn off your lights when you leave the room—even if you'll only be gone for a moment. Contemporary light bulbs require very little energy to turn "on."

Break Ground, Not the Law

Always call 811 before digging in your yard to avoid hitting buried gas or electric lines. Not only is it the safe thing to do, but it's the law.
