Biennial Transmission & Distribution Projects Report

Minn. Stat. § 216B.2425 requires utilities that own or operate electric transmission facilities in the state to report by November 1 of each odd numbered year on the status of the transmission system, including identifying possible solutions to anticipated inadequacies in the transmission system. Read the Biennial Transmission Projects Report on behalf of the Minnesota Transmission Owners (MTO) here.

The newly enacted Minn. Stat. § 216B.2425, subd. 2(e) requires a utility operating under a multiyear rate plan to file an Integrated Distribution Plan in addition to that required in the Biennial Transmission Projects Report

Energy Saving Tip

Make sure to regularly change the air filters on your HVAC system (at least once per month). Old, clogged filters are far less efficient than new ones.

Break Ground, Not the Law

Always call 811 before digging in your yard to avoid hitting buried gas or electric lines. Not only is it the safe thing to do, but it's the law.
