Community Energy Reports

Making it easier to track your community energy and sustainability goals

Energy action planning is becoming critical to achieving sustainability for communities and municipalities. To help in this effort, we are working to make it easier to access and analyze the data necessary to inform you about these important efforts.

The reports for enrolled cities and counties for calendar year 2015 are available below.

Please provide feedback on these reports to communityreporting@xcelenergy.com

Not listed?

If your city or county is not listed and you would like access to your report, let us know by submitting your community name and email address here.

Customized Boundary Options Available

As a default, reports will be generated per jurisdiction boundaries defined for local property tax collection purposes. These definitions have been found to be accurate within three percent. However, you can submit an alternative boundary definition to us in a “shapefile” format (.shp, .shx, or .dbf) by emailing us. Please include your contact information and the shapefile in the email.

What Will You Receive?

Reports will be formatted as .xlsx spreadsheet files and will contain data for one city or county over the 2015 calendar year.

The specific data elements you will receive include:

  1. Electric and Natural Gas Energy consumption data and CO2 Emissions
    • Residential
    • Commercial
    • Industrial

Energy Saving Tip

Set your hot water heater to no higher than 120 degrees Fahrenheit. This isn't just energy smart—it's also safer, since it reduces the likelihood of accidental burns.
