1 Increased rebates are effective for invoices on June 1, 2015 and after.

* If any of these three measures are a recommended improvement from the energy audit, they must be completed in order to successfully complete the program.

** Rebates are based on final cost of the project. Amounts will equal 30% of the total cost, up to the specific improvement rebate amount listed above.

To take advantage of these rebates, you must complete a Home Energy Audit first and then perform a total of three improvements from the table above.

If your auditor recommends attic insulation and bypass sealing, air sealing and weather stripping, and/or compact fluorescent lights (CFLs), these specific improvements are required.

Additional Information

Why does Xcel Energy have a requirement to use certain contractors?
High efficiency solutions for your home are often only as highly efficient as the quality Installation techniques used by your contractor. There is no statewide licensing program in Colorado for residential contractors, so we have selected national certification programs to ensure some common technical knowledge is in-house for each contractor.

Energy Saving Tip

Make sure to regularly change the air filters on your HVAC system (at least once per month). Old, clogged filters are far less efficient than new ones.
