Ductless Mini-Split Heat Pumps

Earn a cash rebate with the purchase of an eligible, high-efficiency mini-split heat pump

Benefits

The small size and flexibility for zoning for heating and cooling individual rooms make a ductless mini-split heat pump a great choice when added ductwork isn’t an option. Since each air handler has its own thermostat, you can condition the space only when it’s occupied, saving you energy and money.

How to Get Started

  1. Find a registered contractor. Your contractor can help you choose the right solution for your home.
  2. Purchase and install a new, qualifying ductless mini-split heat pump after March 1st, 2017.
  3. Download an application (PDF) or ask for one from your installing contractor.  Make sure your rebate application reaches us by the deadline - July 31 of the year after your new system was installed.

Details & Eligibility

The installation property must be located in Colorado and receive residential electric service from Xcel Energy to qualify for the rebate.

Energy Saving Tip

Rather than crank up your heat in the winter, keep your thermostat at a moderate level and bundle up. (Who doesn't love fuzzy slippers?)
