Labor Type: Professional Service

Air source heat pump (ASHP) and ground source heat pump (GSHP) systems provide you heating as well as cooling. Whichever you choose to use in your home, make sure your contactor is committed to Quality Installation. Quality Installation ensures your new system is properly installed, helps make your system more efficient, extends the life of your system, and can lower your electric bill. Quality installation is also explained in this brief video.

In addition to heat pumps, there are other cooling technologies to consider for your home.

Step 2 - Purchase and Install a Qualifying System

The Air Conditioning, Heating, & Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) is a third-party proof source of the efficiency of heating and cooling systems. Rebates can only be processed if your new system has an AHRI certificate. Your contractor is aware of this if they are a participating contractor.
