Get advice from experts: An energy advisor will conduct an ASHRAE Level 1 assessment at your facility to identify what types of equipment upgrades can have the biggest impact on reducing your energy costs. Plus, if your building is under 250,000 square feet, you'll also receive a recommissioning (RCx), or tune-up analysis to identify low and no-cost adjustments that can be made to existing equipment to reduce energy use.
Receive a summary report: Once your assessment is complete, you'll receive a report, which outlines recommended improvement upgrades, expected annual energy cost savings, project payback periods, and rebates you may be eligible to earn. Additionally, your utility bills will be reviewed, and your report will include an ENERGY STAR® benchmarking score for applicable segments.
Earn bonus rebates: By completing an assessment, you're eligible to earn 30 to 40% bonus rebates on select energy-saving improvements identified in your assessment report if you choose to implement the project(s) within one year of your report readout date. Bonus rebate levels will be outlined in your report.
Free implementation services: You'll have access to a choice of services (PDF) to help your improvement projects get off the ground and completed - at no cost:
- Project identification
- Internal stakeholder meetings to help obtain project approval
- Conducting a financial analysis on measures being considered
- Evaluating efficiency proposals
- Coordinating implementation and installation verification
- Gathering paperwork and applying for rebates
You can take advantage of our free implementation services whether or not you sign up for an assessment. These services are ideal if you already have an energy-saving project in mind but could benefit from having start-to-finish support.
