Transforming your fleet to electric vehicles (EVs) offers long-term cost and maintenance savings. To make the EV transition simpler and cost-effective, we’re helping local, state, and other public sector fleet operators through the process. For a limited time, qualified customers can participate in our Fleet EV Service Pilot program.

As a pilot participant, you'll be enrolled in our low-cost EV charging time-of-use rate specially offered for this pilot.

Based on the information you provide, we will evaluate the project site and determine feasibility.
We will work with you to develop a preliminary infrastructure design blueprint while you choose your charging equipment.
For this pilot, you have the option to acquire, install and maintain your own charging equipment that complies with applicable safety standards and has smart charging capabilities, or select charging equipment from our pre-qualified list.
You will be required to make a charging equipment selection prior to execution of the customer service agreement.
All parties will execute the customer service agreement.
We will construct and install equipment at the project site. Timelines for completion will differ based on various facts such as permitting, procurement, scheduling and more.
You will begin charging your fleet EVs after all final electrical inspections are completed.
We will send you a survey to learn more about your experience to help us improve future EV programs.
During enrollment, you can choose to acquire, install and maintain your own charging equipment that complies with applicable safety standards and has smart charging capabilities, or select charging equipment from our pre-qualified list.
If you select from our pre-qualified list, you can choose to either pay for the charger and installation upfront (prepay) or through monthly installments on your bill.
When you elect to prepay, you will be invoiced for the charging equipment and installation costs after construction. Additional monthly service charges will still apply. The monthly service charges vary based on the type of chargers you choose but range from about $11 per month to $34 per month, per charging port.
The monthly bundled cost includes the charging equipment and installation, plus the monthly service charge that covers ongoing maintenance and data management. Once you have applied and are accepted in the pilot, you automatically gain access to our Fleet EV Electric Pricing, which provides overnight (off-peak) charging for less than half the price of on-peak charging.

We will install, own and maintain a dedicated service connection for EV charging, including necessary transformer upgrades, service conducts and a new meter. In addition, we will install, own and maintain the EV supply infrastructure including new service panels, conduit and wiring up to the charger stub.
You will be responsible for costs associated with EV procurement, charging stations and electricity for charging.
A new, dedicated service connection is required for all Fleet EV Service participants. We will install a new service line and a dedicated meter specifically for EV charging.

After we receive the application, we will email you to request a project site plan marked with the proposed location of the charging equipment and vehicle parking.
Energy-efficient appliances and light bulbs may cost a bit more up front, but they can save big money over the life of the product. Plus, some energy-efficient equipment may be eligible for rebates to offset the initial cost.
Always call 811 before digging in your yard to avoid hitting buried gas or electric lines. Not only is it the safe thing to do, but it's the law.
