Electric Vehicle Trade Partner Resource Center

With the growth of electric vehicle (EV) technology, more drivers within our service territories are seeking guidance to make the transition from traditional gas-powered vehicles to electric vehicles. Whether you’re an electrician installing charging stations or an auto dealer selling an electric vehicle within Xcel Energy service territory, we would like to serve as a resource to you to ensure a smooth transition.

Join our EV trade partner network to keep informed with information customers need to power their electric vehicles.

To join our network, download and submit your completed trade partner application to repoweringtransportation@xcelenergy.com. After we review your application, we will contact you about your approval status.

We want you to be successful and will provide you with resources, updates on rate and program information, and access to trainings.

EV Electricians

While we don't endorse specific EV electricians, customers can visit our website to find a list of vendors in their area. By joining the network, we will include your business name on our EV vendor list.

We also offer electrician training and assistance to ensure our customers are receiving the knowledgeable, quality service our customers have come to expect from our Trade Partners.

EV Auto Dealers

Auto dealers are the first line of contact for EV buyers, and having the knowledge about powering EVs may not be your sales staff’s area of expertise. We’re here to help and to provide you with resources so that your customers are equipped with the information they need to make the transition to an EV.

Energy Saving Tip

Set your hot water heater to no higher than 120 degrees Fahrenheit. This isn't just energy smart—it's also safer, since it reduces the likelihood of accidental burns.

May is National Electric Safety Month

Before beginning an outdoor project, be aware of overhead electric lines and keep yourself, your ladders and tools at least 10 feet away from them.
