Colorado Clean Air - Clean Jobs Act Rider

The Clean Air - Clean Jobs Act (HB10-1365) directed Colorado utilities to develop investments that resulted in cleaner air and a more balanced energy system. Xcel Energy's plan retired five coal generation units in Denver and Boulder, repowered the Cherokee plant with natural gas, and installed emission control equipment at Hayden and Pawnee. The Clean Air - Clean Jobs Adjustment rider collected funds to pay the costs of this important work. This rider expired as of Jan. 1, 2022, and will no longer appear on customer bills.

Break Ground, Not the Law

Always call 811 before digging in your yard to avoid hitting buried gas or electric lines. Not only is it the safe thing to do, but it's the law.
