Payment & Late Charges

We are seeking to revise the payment and late charge sections for gas and electric

The Company is proposing to change the Payment and Late Payment Charge section for residential, commercial and industrial customers to recognize a due date on customer bills of fourteen (14) business days from the date of the bill. The current tariffs specify a due date of fifteen (15) calendar days from the date of the bill. This proposed revision ensures that the due date for any such customer will never be less than 15 calendar days from the mailing date or hand delivery date of the bill, consistent with Commission Rule 3401(a)(IV) of the Rules Regulating Electric Utilities and Rule 4401(a)(IV) of the Rules Regulating Gas Utilities and Pipeline Operators. The Company proposes an effective date for these changes of July 1, 2012.

Energy Saving Tip

Turn off your lights when you leave the room—even if you'll only be gone for a moment. Contemporary light bulbs require very little energy to turn "on."

Gas Meter Safety

Keep your natural gas meter dry and clear of snow and ice at all times to avoid the potential for dangerous indoor natural gas buildup.
