Time of Day Pricing allows you to have more control over your electricity bill. How much you pay is determined by how much electricity you use and when you use it. Energy pricing is determined based on the following time periods.
You can save money with Time-of-Day by using less electricity during the on-peak times when electricity is the most expensive. All other times electricity is less expensive and provided to you at a discount.
This program can provide significant savings potential to those that can shift more of their electricity usage towards off-peak times and reduce their consumption during peak periods. it will likely cost you more if you are unable to adjust your electricity usage (or forget to) every weekday during the month.
If you are a low energy user, Time-of-Day Pricing may not be the best choice for you, because there is not a lot of usage to shift to lower priced periods. The amount of electricity usage you are able to shift could potentially be minor, so you may not see much impact on your bill.
Those that use at least 650 kWh per month of electricity could benefit most from this plan.

A Time-of-Day meter will need to be installed to record the time and amount of electricity used.
You can participate in a three month trial to see if the Time-of-Day plan helps you lower your electricity bill. If you are not satisfied, we will recalculate your bill at the standard rate.
*There is a $20 fee charged for removing the Time-of-Day meter.
