Our teams of employees engage in hundreds of opportunities year-round that support building strong and vibrant communities through volunteerism. From mentoring youth and donating food to the hungry, to building homes and planting trees, we encourage our employees to get involved in support of activities and causes that inspire them.
More than 24,000 volunteer hours were donated in 2017 to organizations and causes they love. We are inspired to give even more in 2018.
Focus on Education
In 2017, we provided more than $600,000 in grants and sponsorships to education programs in Minnesota, and our employees engage in those programs too. Our employees gave thousands of hours in support of education programs in 2017, to organizations like Step-Up Achieve, BestPrep, STARBASE MN, Junior Achievement, World Savvy and many high school and middle school programs across the Twin Cities.
Making a sustainable impact for families in need
It is crucial for families to have their basic needs met, like shelter, food, and much more, so each individual has an opportunity to thrive. That is why we are motivated to continue giving thousands of hours in support of organizations that focus on basic needs like Habitat for Humanity, People Serving People, Bridging, The Link, Second Harvest Heartland and so many more.
Annual Day of Service
Our Annual Day of Service brings together employees, family members and friends to volunteer on a wide range of projects, making a difference across numerous communities.
We had more than 600 volunteers supporting 26 projects across Minnesota during our 6th annual Day of Service. This effort resulted in more than 1,800 hours of service to our communities...not bad for a day's work.
Angel Tree Toy Drive
Our employees gave thousands of toys during our 2017 Season of Giving campaign. These toys went to The Salvation Army's Angel Tree program, and will help ease the stress of the holidays for the families who receive them. because of our employees' generosity, thousands of less fortunate children had a meaningful and special holiday season.
