Interconnection Guidelines For Parallel Operation of Distribution Connected Customer-Owned Generation
This information applies to Xcel Energy service territories in Minnesota
It is Xcel Energy’s policy to facilitate any distributed generation consistent with federal, state, and tariff requirements that can be connected and operated safely.
NOTE: The Standard Interconnection and Power Purchase Tariff for 10 MW or less became effective on July 14, 2006. The Standard Interconnection and Power Purchase Tariff for 2 MW or less will be closed upon approval by the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission. Additionally, the Small Wind Tariff will be updated to utilize the interconnection requirements and standards in the 10 MW Tariff.
