Rebates that earn the ENERGY STAR®
Xcel Energy brings you Product Rebates with the ENERGY STAR® - designed to save you money and help us make better use of existing fuel sources. You can save two ways. First, with a rebate check from us reducing your initial equipment cost. Second, with lower operating costs throughout the life of the appliance.
Qualifying Efficiencies and Rebates
Based on qualifying equipment, rebates are offered according to the following schedule. For more details, click on a link at the left to go to the page for that product.
Registered Contractors
You must use a registered contractor to qualify for any of our cooling rebates. Cooling rebate applications are available only through registered contractors. Search for a registered contractor here.

Xcel Energy does not offer rebates on programmable thermostats in Minnesota. Rebates are not offered on individual appliances (washers, dryers, window air conditioners, refrigerators, freezers, clothes washers). Appliance rebates are offered through the Home Performance Rebate program, which requires you to make five or more improvements to your home.
ENERGY STAR® is a government/industry partnership that makes it easy for you to save money and preserve our natural resources. Look for products with the ENERGY STAR® to ensure the appliance is energy-efficient.
