Electric Rate Savings offers tremendous savings opportunities for businesses that can reduce their electric demand at our request.

During periods of peak demand, such as hot summer days, our system may require more power than is normally available. Electric Rate Savings customers help reduce the amount of electricity our customers need, which helps us meet electric system requirements at critical times. The more load you agree to control, the more you’ll save.

Different options let you determine how many control hours you can support at your facility and how large of a discount you receive.

Winter Control Message

Interruptions can occur anytime throughout the year, while typically they occur during summer months, customers should have a plan in place for winter months when colder than normal temperatures, winter storms, and plant maintenance can impact our ability to meet demand.

Since system conditions change quickly during these types of situations, it may be helpful to call the electric hotline in your area (see below), on a regular basis.
