Question: Why has my account number has changed?  

Answer:

As part of our continuous focus to provide you the best service possible, we recently converted to a new customer information system.  With this change, it became necessary for us to change account numbers on customer bills. Going forward, please use this account number when making inquiries about your service or when paying your bills.  If you pay your Xcel Energy bill electronically, please notify your financial institution of your new account number. If you have questions, please call our Business Solutions Center at 1-800-481-4700 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, or send us an e-mail using the Contact Us link on our website.
