New Water Heater Rebate in 2008
Water Heater Rebates that are more comprehensive than ever by BudgetSmart from Xcel EnergySM
A new natural gas water heater can help you save energy and money. The program offers multiple tiers of rebates and no longer requires that a customer install a furnace at the same time as the water heater. The 2008 Water Heater rebate program is offering three tiers of rebates, including tankless water heaters.

For a limited time Xcel Energy gas customers in Minnesota and North Dakota will receive an extra $20 bonus rebate when they purchase and install a new qualifying water heater between February 1, 2008, and April 15, 2008. To be eligible, all rebate application forms must reach us by May 15, 2008, to qualify for the additional cash bonus. Same efficiency levels above apply.

Almost all contractors in our natural gas service area will have information and application forms for this rebate program. If yours does not, just call us at 1-800-895-4999 and ask for form #677. If you prefer, you can download the form to print yourself. In either case, please be sure to keep a copy for your records.
