*For all kWh sold under the Windsource program, Xcel Energy will charge the base energy rate plus the Monthly Wind Energy Service Adjustment where the Monthly Wind Energy Service Adjustment is equal to the Wind Energy Rate less the Electric Commodity Adjustment and the Air Quality Improvement Rider per 100 kWh block of wind energy. The current Windsource electric rates took effect January 1, 2008 and are subject to change. If your electricity use is less than your level of Windsource commitment, you will be charged only for what you use.

The Colorado Public Utilities Commission has approved the use of market pricing concepts for Windsource rather than the regulated rate methods. Xcel Energy reserves the right to remove customers from Windsource for non-payment.

To cancel Windsource after the minimum one-year term (three years for large business customers), call or write Xcel Energy using the contact information listed above. If you move before completing your minimum term your Windsource commitment will terminate automatically.
