Answer:

PV systems installed prior to December 1, 2004 are not eligible for the rebate from Xcel Energy, but may qualify for the Renewable Energy Credit payment. This payment is up to $2.50 per watt installed capacity and requires a 20-year contract with Xcel Energy. This program will be available by June 1, 2006. Check this website for updates, or sign up for e-mail notification.
