Question: What if I am not an Xcel Energy customer?

Answer:

Photovoltaic (PV) systems in Colorado less than 10 kW located in the service territory of a utility with more than 40,000 customers or are off-grid will be eligible for a Renewable Energy Credit (REC) payment. This payment is up to $2.50 per watt installed capacity and requires a 20-year contract with Xcel Energy.  This program will be available by June 1, 2006. Check this website for updates, or sign up for e-mail notification.
