Xcel Energy is soliciting proposals for peaking generation resources on its NSP system. Beginning September 11, 2007, Xcel Energy will be accepting proposals for peaking generation resources to deliver power to its NSP system by May 1, 2011. Xcel Energy will seek approvals for any resulting power purchase agreements with the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission.The proposal submission deadline is November 13, 2007.
