Paul A. Johnson

Managing Director, Investor Relations and Assistant Treasurer

Paul Johnson, managing director, Investor Relations was named to the position of managing director and assistant treasurer at Xcel Energy Inc. in February 2008. In his expanded role, Paul will continue to manage the Investor Relations Department in addition to assuming new responsibilities for Corporate Finance and Treasury Forecasting. Paul was promoted to managing director, Investor Relations, in January 2007. His previous positions include director of Investor Relations (November 2001 – December 2006) and director of External Reporting, along with a variety of financial positions over 20 years.

Johnson graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business from Winona State University and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas.  In addition, he is a CFA charter holder and has passed the CPA and CMA exams.
