Tim E. Taylor

President and CEO, Public Service Company of Colorado, an Xcel Energy Company

Tim Taylor is the president and CEO, Public Service Company of Colorado, an Xcel Energy Company, and responsible for the company's electric and natural gas operations in Colorado. He most recently served as vice president of Asset Management for the Utilities Group of Xcel Energy, Inc., where his primary functions included managing the electric distribution, gas transmission and gas distribution system assets as well as the supply chain organization. 

Taylor’s industry experience includes engineering and managerial positions with Florida Power & Light Company and managing unregulated businesses for FPL Group, Inc. in the QualTec subsidiary.  He consulted for electric and gas utility companies as a partner with Theodore Barry & Associates and for his own management consulting firm, Matrix Management, Inc. He has a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois and an M.B.A. from Florida International University.

He serves on the Board of Directors of Mountain States Employers Council and the Downtown Denver, Inc.
