Why do our products and services differ based on state? Because our business is regulated by state. We have regulated operations in eight Western and Midwestern states. The different regulatory body for each state we serve determines what products and services we deliver in that state.
Help Colorado non-profit organizations and communities by making a tax-deductible donation that supports renewable energy projects through the Renewable Energy Trust (RET). It’s an easy way to help non-profits, your community and the environment.
Anyone can donate to the fund. To add an ongoing donation to your Xcel Energy bill, please call 1-800-895-4999. You can also make a one-time donation online through the Denver Foundation (be sure to choose Xcel Energy Renewable Energy Trust).
Nonprofits and local communities in Colorado can apply for grant money for renewable projects.
The Denver Foundation administers the RET grant fund. Grant applications are reviewed by the RET Customer Advisory Panel.
Note: you can also participate in Solar* Rewards if your organization receives a grant from RET.
