Our products and services differ based on state. Please select your state (or the state you're interested in) from the list to the left.
Why do our products and services differ based on state? Because our business is regulated by state. We have regulated operations in eight Western and Midwestern states. The different regulatory body for each state we serve determines what products and services we deliver in that state.
Residential customers in Minnesota can enjoy significant savings with our Time of Day plan. If you choose to charge your electric vehicle (EV) or run appliances during off-peak hours during late evening and early morning daily, we will provide you a special off-peak rate that’s more than half the standard rate. Weekends and certain holidays are always off-peak, 24 hours a day.
If you use at least 650 kilowatt-hours (kWh) per month of electricity, you could benefit. You should have some type of EV or load/appliance that can easily be shifted to off-peak hours. You’ll see the greatest benefit if you use electric water heating, electric space heating, or both services.
If you charge your EV or run appliances during peak times while on the Time of Day plan, you pay a rate that is higher than standard residential rates.
We will remove your existing meter and replace it with a Time of Day meter that records the time and amount of electricity used.
