Take advantage of Xcel Energy’s Water Heater rebates for North Dakota customers
Overview
A new natural gas water heater can help you save energy and money. Water heating in the home is typically the second largest energy consumer after heating and cooling. Our 2012 Water Heater rebate program is designed to help offset your initial costs and an efficient until can offer savings throughout the lifetime of the equipment.

Who Qualifies
Xcel Energy Standard Water Heating Program:
There is no limit to the number of water heater rebates a customer can receive. If you install two water heaters, you can submit two forms.
Indirect units do not qualify for Xcel Energy rebates.
- For water heaters installed between January 1, 2011 and December 31, 2011, the application deadline is July 31, 2012.
- For water heaters installed between January 1, 2012 and December 31, 2012, the application deadline is July 31 2013.

How to Get Started
Don’t wait. Get started today!
Your rebate will take at least six weeks to process after the application has been submitted. Rebate applications are processed individually; you will receive one check per application if approved. If you submit more than one rebate per envelope, you will most likely receive the rebate checks at different times.
