1Purchase and install a qualified Evaporative Cooling unit from our $200 rebate list with a minimum airflow of 2,500 CFM to receive a rebate of $200 or the purchase price of the evaporative cooling unit, whichever is less.
2 Purchase and install a qualified Evaporative Cooling unit from our $1000 rebate list with a media saturation effectiveness of 85% or higher, with remote thermostat control and periodic purge water control to receive a rebate of $1,000.

Who Qualifies
Purchase and install a qualifying unit between January 1, 2012 and December 31, 2012. We will only rebate according to the current approved list. Please be sure to check our qualifying unit lists prior to submitting your rebate to ensure your Evaporative Cooling rebate eligibility.
- You must be a residential electricity customer of Xcel Energy in New Mexico to qualify for the evaporative cooling rebate.
- You must purchase and install your evaporative cooling unit prior to submitting the rebate application.

How to Get Started
To participate in our Evaporative Cooling program, just download an application or call 1-800-895-4999 to request the rebate form #1972. (2011 rebate applications can be requested by calling our Energy Experts at 1-800-895-4999).
Your rebate will take at least six weeks to process after the application has been submitted. Rebate applications are processed individually. If more than one unit is installed at an address, one application per unit is required. You will receive one check per application if approved. If you submit more than one rebate per envelope, you will most likely receive the rebate checks at different times.
