Self-Direct Custom Efficiency

Colorado businesses earn increased rebates doing your own engineering, implementation and commissioning

Overview

Colorado businesses earn increased rebates when you do your own engineering, implementation and commissioning on qualifying projects at your facilities. If your business is investing in energy efficiency measures and long-term sustainability planning, you may qualify for our Self-Direct Custom Efficiency program.

Large business and industrial electricity customers may qualify for increased rebates when they engineer, implement and commission their own projects. The value of these rebates will be based on the energy savings produced.

Call your Xcel Energy account manager to get started. You’ll get program details and energy expertise to help guide you to long-lasting energy savings.

Benefits

When you take advantage of our Self-Direct Custom Efficiency rebates, you can:

  • Earn higher rebates by designing, engineering and verifying project results yourself.
  • Put together an energy plan to fit your business needs not utility commission guidelines.
  • Receive up to $525/kilowatt (kW) saved or $0.10/kilowatt-hour (kWh) conserved limited to 50% of project incremental costs.
