Standard Lease
Lease your system over 25 years with little or no capital up front cost.
Construction Cost = Approximately $0 - $1000 (based on normal installation requirements to unusual installation requirements)
Maintenance Cost = $10.00 - $18.00 Monthly (based on lamp wattage & underground/overhead service)

Monthly Operating Expenses
Based on the installation package and product type, your monthly rate may include energy, maintenance or a combination of both. Rates are determined using the following criteria:
- Xcel Energy owned vs. customer owned system
- Overhead vs. underground facilities
- Lamps from 70 to 1000 watts with an option of High Pressure Sodium (HPS) or Metal Halide
- Standard vs. decorative fixture and pole
- Partial maintenance vs. full maintenance
Rates for Xcel Energy owned systems, including maintenance and energy, range from $5.45 to $40.10 per month to maintenance only for customer owned systems ranging from $2.15 to $17.15 per month
Maintenance Services
Full Maintenance Package
Includes:
- Replacement of burned-out lamps, broken or damaged glassware, failed ballasts, starters, electronic photo-controls & fuses and worn gaskets
- Scheduled group lamp replacement
- Cleaning lens and interior of luminaire
Xcel Energy will perform the above maintenance items in addition to supplying and stocking materials, making all repairs and replacement of luminaires, wiring and poles.
Fixture Maintenance Package
Includes:
- Replacement of burned-out lamps, broken or damaged glassware, failed ballasts, starters, electronic photo-controls & fuses and worn gaskets
- Scheduled group lamp replacement
Customer will make all repairs and replacements, except those maintenance items above, which shall be performed by Xcel Energy.
Partial Maintenance Package A
Includes:
- Replacement of burned-out lamps, failed electronic photo-controls & fuses
- Cleaning lens and interior of luminaire
- Scheduled group lamp replacement
Customer will make all repairs and replacements, furnishing and installing all replacement glassware, gaskets, ballasts and starters except those maintenance items above which shall be performed by Xcel Energy.
Partial Maintenance Package B
Includes:
- Replacement of burned-out lamps, failed electronic photo-controls & fuses
- Cleaning lens and interior of luminaire
- Scheduled group lamp replacement
- Furnish labor only to install customer furnished glassware, ballasts, starters and gaskets
Customer will purchase and stock at a convenient location, all glassware, ballast assemblies, starters and gaskets.
