Why do our products and services differ based on state? Because our business is regulated by state. We have regulated operations in eight Western and Midwestern states. The different regulatory body for each state we serve determines what products and services we deliver in that state.

Please note: Mercury Vapor lights are no longer available for new installations. Xcel Energy will convert mercury vapor units to high-pressure sodium upon failure of the mercury vapor ballast.
Nightwatch lights are also referred to as Automatic Protective Lighting Service in Xcel Energy’s rate schedule and on the billing.
