Storm Update
Freezing rain, sleet and heavy snow is causing service interruptions in the Texas Panhandle, the Texas South Plains and eastern New Mexico. Ice has built up on power lines, and strong winds are causing these lines to contact one another and damaging structures that support the lines. Xcel Energy has mobilized all service personnel in the area and has restored service to many customers already impacted. Outages are expected throughout the day.
