Choose your state

Our products and services differ based on state. Please select your state (or the state you're interested in) from the list to the left.

Why do our products and services differ based on state? Because our business is regulated by state. We have regulated operations in eight Western and Midwestern states. The different regulatory body for each state we serve determines what products and services we deliver in that state.

Phase I Environmental Assessment

Phase I Environmental Assessment

These help determine the historical environmental risk of previous operations

Phase 1 Environmental Assessments are for environmental consulting firms and residential properties that need to know if any PCBs are in the electrical equipment on their property.

Our Environmental Policy and Services Department often receives requests for Phase 1 Environmental Assessments. A Phase 1 Environmental Assessment helps determine the historical environmental risks of previous operations at a facility or property.

If you’ve been asked to provide an environmental assessment from a lending institution and you know that there is electrical equipment on the site, please read the following information and download the attached letter regarding our policy.

Due to the high number of requests, we are unable to research and sample each individual piece of equipment. If the equipment is found to be leaking fluid, please notify us at 1-800-895-1999 and we will respond accordingly.

If you have additional questions or need more information, contact one of the following regional environmental services offices:

  • North region (Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, South Dakota, North Dakota): 612-330-6989 or 612-330-7764
  • Central region (Colorado): 303-571-3512 or 303-571-3799
  • South region (Texas, New Mexico): 806-378-2198
