Overview
Xcel Energy is helping builders construct and sell ENERGY STAR-verified homes in Minnesota. In partnership with the Builders Association of the Twin Cities (BATC), Xcel Energy promotes energy-efficient homes through both of the annual Parade of Homes events.
Differentiate Your Homes with ENERGY STAR
Xcel Energy provides diagnostic testing, infrared scanning, blower door testing and ENERGY STAR verification for residential homes built in the Xcel Energy service area. (See the criteria listed below.) This free program helps you create homes that surpass all other homes in terms of comfort, energy efficiency, moisture control, air quality and durability. You build a reputation for quality and value by offering your customers a home that not only saves them up to 30% on monthly energy bills, but also helps improve the environment.
